Don't anticipate tax changes

President Barack Obama has promised federal tax changes, but don't rearrange your finances to reduce your 2009 tax burden just yet, financial advisers say. Financial advisers and tax planners don't expect Obama to make tax changes this year because he must revive the economy first. In December, Obama unveiled a plan to cut taxes by up to $1,000 for middle-income families, extend credits for tuition and mortgage interest, and eliminate income taxes for some seniors.
